Limited edition 1/2000 copies, 97pp., bound in green cloth centrally stamped with the Lawrence phoenix in gilt, spine lettering and top edge gilt, front and rear free endpapers browned otherwise a handsome clean bright copy. This is essentially THE ESCAPED COCK under a new title. The text of the two editions is substantially the same, although certain technical differences are to be noted. The First American edition was published from new plates [McDonald p. 68] [pb.2384]
